Our Purpose

We offer a variety of programs that serve the needs of a diverse group of adult learners within the Milton and surrounding Community.

Our program is delivered in an independent study format and with our flexible hours, many adults are able to continue their employment and attend school to learn computer skills, complete their high school diplomas, and earn pre-requisite courses to prepare for apprenticeship training or college / university programs. We are able to provide literacy and numeracy support for those in the trades and we provide credit evaluations for adults educated within and outside Ontario. Many of our students are here to learn new and exciting computer skills. We are proud to say that our adult students range in age from 17 years and into their 80’s.

Given the changing face of the evolving workplace and the growing complexity of society, it is essential that adults of all ages embrace change and commit to their own self-development. No one wants to be left behind and miss the great opportunities that an expanded outlook and skill base can provide. Whether new to the workforce, considering a career change midlife, or enjoying the freedom of retirement, most everyone shares the desire to grow and develop new skills. The results are often a more positive attitude and strong self-confidence. We understand that new skills mean new opportunities.

We are proud to provide Adult, Alternative and Community Education Programs within Halton, to adult learners of all ages. For the low cost of only $35 for the entire school year, each of our students has the opportunity to define their individual needs and to share in the excitement of learning new skills.
